Caramel Cornhusk Set to Outshine Current Pumpkin Spice Craze
In light of the popularity of the Pumpkin Spice-flavored drinks, Starbucks has recently announced the upcoming release of a full line of new fall-themed drinks.
“We thought, why not take advantage of the fall craze? So we decided to have our best guys develop some new flavors,” stated a Starbucks executive who wished to remain nameless, “It doesn’t matter what it’s made of, it just needs to Instagram well.”
The new line includes a Butternut Scarecrow Latte, Caramel Cornhusk Frappuccino, and Turkey Stuffing Mocha. Each will be served in a newly packed to-go-cup wearing overalls and a maroon scarf.
In anticipation of the launch, many have expressed concern. “Thanksgiving is way too mainstream of a holiday. When they release a Daylight Savings-themed drink, then we’ll talk,” stated an unnamed Susquehanna University student, who then adjusted his beanie, straightened his non-prescription glasses, and sauntered away yelling about the benefits of locally sourced produce.
In response, Susquehanna University’s campus Starbucks has released a special seasonal flavor as well. Employees have refused to comment on the contents of the drink or the scratches on their hands.
