“Feel the Bern” Enters Campaign Slogan Hall of Fame
After many long weeks of consideration, Bernie Sanders’ slogan “Feel the Bern” has been added to the Campaign Slogan Hall of Fame in Anchorage, Alaska. The sheer genius of the pun is why critics proclaim that the quote “barreled its way into competition with the top dogs and come out the victor.”
Runners up for this year’s spot in the Hall of Fame included Donald Trump’s slogan “If you’re not White, your wrong” and Hillary Clinton’s “I’m better than Bernie Sanders”.
A gold plaque of the slogan will be featured between two historical victors. To the right, Warren G. Harding’s “Cox and Cocktails” and to the left of Woodrow Wilson’s “He Kept Us Out of War”.
Bernie Sanders’ plaque will be mounted on the wall in its rightful place in the coming days and will be open to the public viewing starting October 1st.
