O'Malley Bob Bop Bops to the Top With New Campaign Slogan

During the Democratic Debate on October 13, Martin O’Malley formally adopted the peppy phrase, "We're All in this Together," from the 2006 Disney movie High School Musical as his official campaign slogan. This decision was made in an effort to appeal to younger voters, many of whom grew up watching the lighthearted trilogy.

The presidential hopeful cheerfully sang, "We're All in this Together!" throughout the debate, clapping his hands above his head in a demonstration of the cool new moves he's learned from Kenny Ortega, the director of the High School Musical francise. O’Malley has spent over $5,000 from his campaign funds to take dance lessons with Ortega.

“Martin is one of the most graceful presidential candidates I have ever worked with,” Ortega commented. "He's a regular Troy Bolton."

The new slogan indicates that the potential U.S. president will focus his agenda on the superficial concerns of our nation's youth. No one in High School Musical has problems with the U.S. budget or immigration, and neither should Americans. Instead, O’Malley will fix the country's real problems, like following one’s heart despite social norms or deciding what song is best to sing for the talent show.

O’Malley is one of the hippest candidates to date, keeping current with a franchise that was popular almost a decade ago. Despite the fact that O’Malley is a 52-year-old male obsessed with a children's movie, this throwback will warm the hearts of nostalgic young adults and create a positive atmosphere for the future of this country.
