This documentary contains raw footage taken by Christopher Smith on October 31st, 2026. The following video contains bright flashes, maniacal laughing, grown men crying, and graphic images. Viewer discretion advised.

[Black Screen. Then, clown picture. Black and white. Cue dramatic music.]

Voiceover: I thought I was safe. I mean, I think we all did.

[Picture of a little girl smiling with a balloon. Black and white except the balloon, which is bright red. Children’s laughter in the background.]

Voiceover: What else could I do but run?

[Cut to black, then fade to an empty studio with a chair center screen. A man walks in. Cue Netflix ViolinsTM]

Chris: Is this thing on? Yea-yeah? Okay cool. Should I—ok I’ll start. Hi. My name is Christopher Smith. And I am a victim.

[Screen is replaced with a black and white picture of a house.]

Chris, offscreen: He was my roommate. I knew him as Jake. Everyone else knew him as Bubbles the [gasp, sob] clown.

[Back to studio. Chris stands up, staggers off camera.]

Chris: I’m sorry, I can’t—

[Switch to Grace DeSquirrel, clown enthusiast.]

DeSquirrel: It’s really traumatic for him, I’m sure. I mean, finding out your roommate is a clown? Not many people handle that well. A lot of people see the footage and automatically judge Chris. But he had it rough. I know I think he’s brave. And handsome.

[Cut to Chris and DeSquirrel making out backstage.]

Chris, muffled: God I love that you don’t have a wig.

[Switch to Grace DeSquirrel, Chris clown enthusiast.]

DeSquirrel: Look, just don’t judge him, ok? Clowns are everywhere.

[Black screen. Then, fade into shaky camera footage. The camera appears to be under a table. Through the legs, one can see a doorway. Peeking out from the side is a red nose and giant shoes.]

Chris: Oh God. Oh God he’s a clown. Please, please, someone help me.

Bubbles: Come out and play motherhonker.

[Video shakes and becomes unfocused, Chris is crawling away, crying. Maniacal laughter in the background. Finally the video steadies as Chris stands up. He is outside.]

 Chris: He's a clown, oh God he's a clown

[Chris runs up to a neighbor walking a dog. Video goes blurry again.]

 Chris: Save me!!

Neighbor 1: Hey what's going on

Neighbor 2: Oh it's just Chris again.

Bubbles: FACE ME.

Neighbor 1: Oh and there's Jake.

Chris: It's Bubbles. ITS BUBBLES.
